Fun Ideas to Keep the Whole Family Cool
As much as we love summer, the scorching summer heat can sometimes be a bit too much for both children and adults alike!
To help you beat the heat, here are some fun ways to keep the whole family cool this summer:
#01. Ice, Ice Baby!
Who does not love ice on a hot summer day? To spice things up a bit, instead of just adding ice to drinks, why not play with it or even better, wear it?
Grab a large bucket or plastic container and fill it up with water. Once it is frozen solid, remove the ice from the container, and let the kids have fun outside as the huge block of ice melts. To be able to melt it, they can pour water on it or they can even sit on it!
You can also make ice necklaces by placing a long piece of string or yarn on one side of an ice cube tray and make sure that it dips down into each hole. Add water and freeze – just be sure to not add too much water! Once the cubes freeze, simply pop them out and there you have it: an instant cooling necklace!
#02. Get Wet!
You do not necessarily need a swimming pool to be able to enjoy the water on a hot summer day. There are many ways you can get wet and cool down out in the yard!
Add a sprinkler to the end of a hose and you will surely have hours of water fun in the yard! This is easy, simple, and cheap – everyone will surely love this!
You can also give your children paintbrushes and cups of water for them to make their own artworks all over the yard. Have them wear their bathing suits for extra fun and comfort, and let them paint on the concrete, fence, deck, and even the sides of the house! Since they will only be using water, it will defini

Remember those days when slip n’ slides were a big thing? Bring back those good days by making your own out of heavy plastic sheeting and the hose! Just turn the sprinklers on or run a hose down the sheeting and you instantly have a giant slip n’ slide. You can also add some shaving cream or dish soap to make the slide a little more slippery.

Im going to start this by saying Im a very particular customer. My background is in mathematics and mechanical engineering so I have an eye for detail and a respect for technical knowledge.
Greg had already done an AC inspection and replaced a water heater tank and there was no question in my mind who to deal with replacing my rickety old furnace after it got pooched.
