Daikin is an excellent HVAC brand from the other side of the world as they’re most common around Asia, Oceania, and Europe. Daikin air conditioners are tough because they have to be able to fight the scorching heat of those tropical and desert climates! So when your Daikin air conditioner starts giving you trouble, we understand that you need to get it back in working order as soon as possible. These troubleshooting tricks may help you get the air conditioner working again without having to call a professional (for now)!
First, make sure that the Daikin AC unit is plugged in and cooling is on. Then check to make sure it hasn’t blown or tripped a fuse. Next, clean or replace the filters if they're dirty. Dirty filters are a big culprit in restricted airflow or lack of air in air conditioners. Also, make sure that the air conditioner or return vent isn’t being blocked or covered by furniture.
Lastly, Daikin has a great system for troubleshooting. If you see a green light on the panel, unplug the unit for a minute to restart it. If the light is still flashing when you plug it back in then hold ‘Cancel’ on the remote for ten seconds, or until the screen starts flashing two zeros. Keep pressing ‘Cancel’ in time with the flashes to cycle through different error code numbers. When the machine beeps once, then the numbers don’t correlate to the issue. When it beeps twice, then one of the numbers on the screen corresponds and if it has one long beep, then both numbers on the screen are correct. Write these numbers down and refer to the manual for a list of error codes.

We are very happy to recommend this company to everyone. Our furnace broke down on Sunday morning. We phoned them and before noon Grant the owner showed up. He worked on the furnace for about a hour not wanting to give up to fix the problem. The furnace was 17 years old. I was the one talking about replacing it. End result was the next day it was all done. On the Sunday Bob came over with heaters to warm up the house. We decided to replace the water heater at the same time. TwinTech is an excellent and honest company! I called them for a second opinion after being told by another company that I needed to replace my furnace. Turns out this was not the case at all!
