As winter passes, it’ll soon be time to get your air conditioner up and running again, and you definitely don’t want to be stuck in the last days of spring with an air conditioner that isn’t working. First, you’re going to want to go through the air conditioner checklist. This means making sure your Ducane air conditioner is connected to a reliable power source. If the unit isn’t responding, ensure it’s plugged in, turned on, and check to see if the circuit has been blown. If so, reset the circuit and try again. Next, make sure that the internal filter isn’t clogged or dirty. This can result in strained airflow and can wear down your AC unit faster.
After going over the above steps, make sure the thermostat is working properly. Do this by setting the temperature to a cooler setting and wait a few hours to make sure the change takes effect. Lastly, make sure to clear any debris, such as leaves, twigs, and branches away from the outdoor unit. Leaving this area clear is important in preventing issues.
If these steps don’t work for you, then call your HVAC tech before you’re stuck in the heat!

We are very happy to recommend this company to everyone. Our furnace broke down on Sunday morning. We phoned them and before noon Grant the owner showed up. He worked on the furnace for about a hour not wanting to give up to fix the problem. The furnace was 17 years old. I was the one talking about replacing it. End result was the next day it was all done. On the Sunday Bob came over with heaters to warm up the house. We decided to replace the water heater at the same time. TwinTech is an excellent and honest company! I called them for a second opinion after being told by another company that I needed to replace my furnace. Turns out this was not the case at all!
