Is My Heat Pump Disconnected?

Determining whether your heat pump is disconnected involves a few steps. Here's a guide to help you check the status of your heat pump:

Check the Thermostat: Verify that your thermostat is set to a temperature that should trigger the heat pump to turn on. Ensure that the thermostat is in the heating mode. If the thermostat is set correctly and the heat pump is not running, it could be a sign of an issue.

Inspect the Circuit Breaker: Check the circuit breaker or fuse box that supplies power to your heat pump. Make sure the breaker is in the "ON" position or replace any blown fuses. If the breaker trips repeatedly, it may indicate an electrical issue, and you should consult with an electrician.
