What Are Signs That My Furnace May Soon Require Replacement?

At Twintech Heating & Cooling, repairing furnaces is our bread and butter! However, there comes a point in every furnace's life where even regular maintenance and the most skillful repairs can't save it. Here are some signs that your furnace might need to be replaced:
Age
No matter how well you take care of them, every furnace will inevitably reach their retirement age. This is on average 18 to 20 years, but if your furnace is older and still works, then don’t worry! If it still runs perfectly and isn’t too costly to maintain, then age is just a number.
Rising Heating Bills/Furnace Efficiency
If you start to notice a rise in your heating bills over time, then even if the furnace is working fine, it might not be the most cost-efficient idea to keep it. Instead, it may be best to buy a new furnace that is far more efficient and should come with a good warranty too.
Unusual Noises and Physical Wear
If your furnace is extra loud, hums or buzzes even after a repair, then this may be a sign of cracks or other issues with the build of the furnace. Rust is another good sign of physical damage that can affect the performance and life of your unit.
Issues with Heating
One big reason for replacement is if your furnace isn’t heating your home right. Two signs are if the rooms in your home are being heated unevenly and if you’ve got humidity issues, such as dry air. But these issues could also be a duct issue, so contact your HVAC technician about this before replacing your furnace entirely.
Note: On their own, these signs may not be the best reasons to replace your furnace, so weigh them together when making a decision.

I left a live chat message on their website that my air conditioning was not working. Within 1hr a representative called me to discuss my options.
The next day he came to the house to review my needs and give me a price for a new system. Price quoted was less than I expected and the installation was completed the following day. I found their salesman and the installers very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. All my questions were answered. Everything was properly explained in regards to what unit was needed and why, along with instruction where needed for use.
