Furnace Isnt Receiving Power

If your furnace isn't receiving power, there could be several reasons behind the issue. Here's a checklist to help troubleshoot:

Check the Thermostat: Ensure the thermostat is set to "heat" and the temperature is set higher than the current room temperature. Replace the batteries if necessary.

Check the Circuit Breaker: Inspect the breaker panel for a tripped breaker. If the furnace breaker has tripped, reset it by switching it off and then on again.

Blown Fuse: Some furnaces have fuses on the control board. Check for any blown fuses and replace them if necessary.

Power Switch: Many furnaces have a power switch located nearby. Ensure it hasn’t been accidentally turned off.

Inspect the Wiring: Loose or damaged wires can prevent the furnace from receiving power. You may need to consult a professional for an inspection.

Safety Switch: Some furnaces have safety switches that prevent operation if a door panel is open. Ensure all access panels are properly secured.

Pilot Light or Ignition System: For gas furnaces, check if the pilot light is out or if there's an issue with the ignition system.

Blower Motor Issues: A faulty blower motor could cause power issues with the furnace.

I have known Greg and Grant Dainty for many years and have used their company for my house and business. On the day of install Greg and Grant arrived at my home on time and were very professional and extremely courteous as to any questions or concerns that I had. The removal and install was truly professional and the attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. Ive seen many installs from other contractors and I couldnt be any happier to have had such a clean looking install. The sheet metal work, ducting and venting all look fantastic. My old furnace had finally broken down for the last time when contacted twintech to have a new furnace installed They were prompt, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. They did such a great job i tell all my friends and family about this company.
