Each of the following status codes is a two digit number with the first digit determined by number of flashes of the yellow led and the second digit determined by number of flashes of the green led.

Like many furnace manufacturers, Bryant uses flashing LED lights to indicate error codes that can give you an idea of what's wrong with your furnace when it's not functioning properly. The short flashes indicate the first digit of the two-digit code, and the long flashes indicate the second digit. Here's are some common error codes.

CODE: RED LED1 ON.
RESULT: Furnace is operating in emergency heat.

CODE: RED LED2 ON.
RESULT: The microprocessor has malfunctioned. To reset: Put setup switch "SW-1" in the "ON" position nad jumper thermostat terminals "R", "W/W1" and "Y/Y2" simultaneously with the door switch pushed in and power to the unit "ON". Disconnect jumper and place setup switch in the "OFF" position. If LED2 reappears, replace main control board.

CODE: YELLOW LED3 ON.
RESULT: Furnace is operating in high heat.

CODE: GREEN LED4 ON.
RESULT: Furnace is operating in low heat.

CODE: RED LED2 FLASHING.
RESULT: Line voltage polarity is reversed.

CODE: 1-1.
RESULT: NO FAULT IN RECENT HISTORY DISPLAY
FIX: Indicates no faults have occurred within the last five cycles. To read recent fault history, put setup switch "SW-1" in the "ON" position. To clear recent fault history, put setup switch "SW-1" in the "ON" position and jumper thermostat terminals "R", "W/W1" and "Y/Y2" simultaneously until an "11" is flashed.

CODE: 1-2.
RESULT: BLOWER CALIBRATION LOCKOUT
FIX: Indicates RPM calculated for low heat was less than 250 RPM or greater than 1300 RPM on two successive attempts. Auto reset after three hours. Reset power and refer to fault #44 section.

CODE: 1-3.
RESULT: LIMIT SWITCH LOCKOUT
FIX: Indicates the occurrence of 10 successive limit trips during high heat or three successive limit trips during low heat. Auto reset after three hours. Check for *Improper or misaligned limit and/or limit shield. *Improper high or low heat gas input adjustment. *Stuck high heat solenoid in gas valve.

CODE: 1-4.
RESULT: IGNITION LOCKOUT
FIX: Control will auto-reset after three hours.

CODE: 2-1.
RESULT: INVALID MODEL SELECTION
FIX: Indicates model plug is missing or incorrect. See wiring diagram for correct connector jumper location.

CODE: 2-2.
RESULT: SETUP ERROR
FIX: Indicates setup switch "SW-1" or "SW-6" is positioned improperly. The following combinations will cause the fault: *Thermostat call with "SW-1" "ON", or Thermostat call with "SW-6" "ON", or "SW-1" and "SW-6" both "ON" together.

CODE: 2-3.
RESULT: INVALID BLOWER AIRFLOW SELECTION
FIX: Indicates improper "A/C" or "CF" switch setting. The 042 and 14 units can deliver 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 tons A/C and 600 to 1400 CFM for continuous fan. The 060 and 20 unit can deliver 2 to 5 tons A/C and 800 to 2000 CFM for continuous fan. If code is flashing, unit will default tp closest allowable airflow.

CODE: 2-4.
RESULT: SECONDARY VOLTAGE FUSE IS OPEN
FIX: Check for: - Short circuit in secondary voltage (24VAC) wiring.

CODE: 3-1.
RESULT: PRESSURE SWITCH DID NOT CLOSE OR REOPENED
FIX: If open longer than five minutes, inducer shuts off for 15 minutes before retry. Check for: - Excessive wind - Proper vent sizing -- Defective inducer motor - Low inducer voltage (115VAC) - Defective pressure switch -Inadequate combustion air supply - Restricted vent - Disconnected or obstructed pressure tubing - Low inlet gas pressure (if LGPS used) If it opens during blower ondelay period, blower will come on for the selected blower off-delay.

CODE: 3-3.
RESULT: LIMIT CIRCUIT FAULT
FIX: Indicates a limit, or flame rollout is open. Blower will run for 4 minutes or until open switch remakes whichever is longer. If open longer than 3 minutes, code changes to lockout #13. If open less than 3 minutes status code #33 continues to flash until blower shuts of Flame rollout switch requires manual reset. Check for: - Restricted vent - Proper vent sizing - Loose blower wheel - Excessive wind - Dirty filter or restricted duct system. - Defective blower motor or capacitor. - Defective switch or connections. - Inadequate combustion air supply (Flame Roll-out Switch open).

CODE: 3-4.
RESULT: IGNITION PROVING FAILURE
FIX: Control will try three more times before lockout #14 occurs. If flame signal lost during blower on-delay period, blower will come on for the selected blower off-delay. Check for: - Control ground continuity - Flame sensor must not be grounded - Oxide buildup on flame sensor (clean with fine steel wool) - Proper flame sense microamps (.5 microamps D.C. min., 4.0 - 6.0 nominal). - Gas valve defective or gas valve turned off - Manual valve shut-off - Defective Hot Surface Ignitor - Low inlet gas pressure - Inadequate flame carryover or rough ignition - Green/Yellow wire MUST be connected to furnace sheet metal.

CODE: 4-1.
RESULT: BLOWER OUTSIDE VALID SPEED RANGE
FIX: Indicates the blower is not operating at the calculated RPM. If this fault occurs in conjunction with fault #44 check wiring to motor otherwise refer to the trouble-shooting guide.

CODE: 4-2.
RESULT: INDUCER OUTSIDE VALID SPEED RANGE
FIX: Indicates the inducer is not operating at the calculated RPM. Or it has not started within 10 seconds after a call for heat. Check wiring to motor otherwise refer to the troubleshooting guide.

CODE: 4-3.
RESULT: PRESSURE SWITCH CALIBRATION FAULT
FIX: Indicates the low and high pressure switch "make" points during high heat purge are not within calibration range. Check for: -Plugged condensate drain Water in vent piping, possibly sagging pipe -Improper pressure switch wiring or pressure switch tubing connections -Failed or "out of calibration" pressure switches.

CODE: 4-4.
RESULT: BLOWER CALIBRATION FAULT
FIX: Indicates the calculated blower speed is below 250 or above 1300 RPM. Unit will default to low or high heat mode if possible. If this fault occurs in conjunection with fault #41, check wiring to motor otherwise refer to the trouble shooting guide. If this fault occurs by itself, check for undersized ductwork, or excessive static caused by a dirty filter, or closed registers.

CODE: 4-5.
RESULT: CONTROL CIRCUITRY LOCKOUT
FIX: Auto-reset after one hour lockout due to; - Gas valve relay stuck open - Flame sense circuit failure - Software check error Reset power to clear lockout. Replace control if status code repeats.

by Tracy, Pickering on Twintech Heating and Cooling

We couldn’t have been more impressed with Twintech - from our first service call with Mitch who took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue with our furnace, to Dave who proposed a well thought out solution to meet our needs and finally Greg and team who acted quickly to install given we had no heat.

We did our due diligence by soliciting quotes from alternate providers and were shocked and disappointed by the aggressive and manipulative tactics used.

Twintech was honest in their approach, detailed in their product knowledge, reasonably priced, diligent in their follow-up and valued our business.

Well done Twintech! You made this a positive experience for us and our new furnace works beautifully!

by Skapoor, Ajax on Twintech Heating and Cooling

We recently purchased an Amana high efficiency furnace and humdifier through Twintech. The work was completed very professionally and the quality of the workmanship was high. There was some additional sheet metal work required to complete the installation, which they were able to complete themselves. Overall I am very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Twintech for a furnace replacement.

by Steve, Oshawa on Twintech Heating and Cooling

We were very pleased with every aspect of the work that was done. They were very professional and polite. They arrived when they said they would and job was completed on estimated time

We would highly recommend them to whoever needed a recommendation

We have a very large dog and they were very understanding and respectful of him being around

by Patrick, Toronto on Twintech Heating and Cooling

The blower on our furnace stopped working leaving us with a cold house. Dave from TwinTech responded immediately to our HomeStars service request. From beginning to end Dave was nothing but helpful, friendly and professional, he did a great job of walking us through the quote and scope of work.

The replacement of the furnace went smoothly. The Guys did a great job, everyone was very friendly and polite. There were no hiccups, or unexpected costs. The only surprise was they left the work area cleaner than it was before they started.

Was a great experience with the whole TwinTech team. Its been a couple of months since the new furnace has been installed and its working great!

by Ed, Whitby on Twintech Heating and Cooling

I heard about TwinTech when researching new furnaces at furnaceprices.ca. After contacting them about my broken down furnace, Dave came to my house the next day to assess my situation and requirements for a new furnace. He recommended one that had stainless steel heat exchangers which sold me since my previous furnace had issues with a rusted secondary heat exchanger that had to be replaced. Dave also set me up with an appointment with an energy audit company so that I could take advantage of a rebate to help improve the energy efficiency of my home and get some money back. A few days later, Greg, Grant, and Mitch came to install the new furnace and remove the old one. When delivering and removing the furnaces, they were very careful not to damage my floors and walls, and even laid out red carpeting to protect the floors. They were very friendly and professional. The installation was completed in the time they said it would take and they cleaned up their work areas. Within a week, Dave called to follow-up to see how everything was going. I have already recommended them to several friends and family members who may need new furnaces soon.

Twintech did a great job, from Dave the Sales Rep to the Office staff and The Professional Technicians who did the installation. They were professional, courteous, knowledgable and informative. From beginning to follow up we were completely satisfied with everything. Thanks Again. Sincerely The Laytons

by Elle, Oshawa on Twintech Heating and Cooling

Great product, great service, great follow-up. The Twintech Heating and Cooling arranged removal of my existing oil tank and they installed the new gas furnace Amana (made in USA). I am very happy with the final result and support I received throughout the process. My thanks go to the entire Twintech team for their professionalism, great communication and follow-up.

by John & Linda, Ajax on Twintech Heating and Cooling

We've had Twintech provide us with work in the past, for an inground pool heater and required rough-in for a new gas stove. More recently they provided the same friendly, professional, timely and clean installation of our new furnace.

by Bill, Whitby on Twintech Heating and Cooling

Reasonable price and the workmanship was prompt and timely and the employees were great to deal with.

by Nadia, Toronto on Twintech Heating and Cooling

The sales process was friendly, informative, and very consultative. They worked hard to earn our business by taking a careful look around our home to assess our needs, providing a lot of information about the product, and answering all our questions and finding the right solution for our home at a competitive price. They prepared us very well for what to expect on installation day, and the installation went very smoothly - no surprises, all very professional! They gave us a call after installation to ensure we were happy with the work. We're very happy that we chose to work with TwinTech to get our new furnace.
