If you have a Rheem furnace but are experiencing some minor hiccups/issues with it, try these troubleshooting tips to straighten things out.
Small issues often come down to basic maintenance, so first make sure you’ve got clean filters in the furnace. Dirty filters can do long-term damage if they are left inside as the system can become clogged.
Another reason it might not be heating could be an issue with the thermostat. Make sure you’ve set your thermostat correctly and that the adjustable calibration scale is set upright. If it’s set correctly it could be a software issue. This can also be done if the furnace is cycling irregularly, meaning your thermostat is likely adjusting incorrectly. On the calibration scale, set the heat anticipator correctly. If none of these things help, you may have to replace the thermostat.
Lastly, make sure the furnace is getting adequate power. Go to your circuit board and make sure the fuses aren’t cracked or blown. If it’s blown, replace it but otherwise resetting the circuit should help.
If none of the above work, don’t worry as you’ve done your due diligence! Now’s the time to call in your trusted HVAC company to complete the job.

The next day he came to the house to review my needs and give me a price for a new system. Price quoted was less than I expected and the installation was completed the following day. We are very happy to recommend this company to everyone. Our furnace broke down on Sunday morning. We phoned them and before noon Grant the owner showed up. He worked on the furnace for about a hour not wanting to give up to fix the problem. The furnace was 17 years old. I was the one talking about replacing it. End result was the next day it was all done. On the Sunday Bob came over with heaters to warm up the house. We decided to replace the water heater at the same time. TwinTech is an excellent and honest company! I called them for a second opinion after being told by another company that I needed to replace my furnace. Turns out this was not the case at all! I did not need a new furnace. TwinTech did not push to make an unnecessary sale and saved me from a huge expense. Bob and Mitch were extremely professional and above all honest!
