Our previous house was a 1968 split level 1600 total sq feet with basement and we had a 13 seer carrier ac 2 to worked well.
We also had new triple pane windows and white exterior.
Our new house is a bungalow old windows and brown exterior so may absorb more heat.
1360 sq feet main floor and 2400 around total with basement.
Just installed a 2 ton 18 seer carrier heat pump 38muraq also rated 24kbtu.
Yesterday it didn't seem to be keeping up but wasn't home a lot of paying to much attention.
Yesterday was around 25-26 Celsius and today is going to get to 27 Celsius.
Around 11 am it was 21.
5 In the house and we were cleaning so feeling hot so I turned it to 21 it was also only 23c outside.
By 1pm it hadn't stopped running and it was now 22 and 25c outside.
I went to do some running around and now it's still 22 set to 21 and 26 c outside.
Only the second day using it but seems to be struggling.
We are planning to get new windows by next summer but wondering if it should have been sized up?
Any thoughts?

You need 3-4 ton AC for that size.

I left a live chat message on their website that my air conditioning was not working. Within 1hr a representative called me to discuss my options.
The next day he came to the house to review my needs and give me a price for a new system. Price quoted was less than I expected and the installation was completed the following day. I found their salesman and the installers very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. All my questions were answered. Everything was properly explained in regards to what unit was needed and why, along with instruction where needed for use.
The installers made sure everything was working properly before they left.

He not only took the time to check everything but also educated us on why we needed what he recommended. Greg and Mitch graciously accommodated us on our requested day and time for job to be done. They were both very courteous and responsive to our needs and special requests especially in a tight spot. The job was finished neatly and on time. Thank you Twintech for your great service !

The issue was fixed and many suggestions were provided.

Our furnace was rattling, as soon as we put our air conditioner on this past week. We had researched looking for a company that was Registered with Better Business Bureau, and this company TwinTech, had A+ Rating. I contacted various companies when looking to install a new furnace and I found Twintech to be transparent with their communication and approach.
