But no matter which kind you have, here are some tips for when your Mr Cool air conditioner starts to give you trouble.
First, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve been regularly performing the correct maintenance on the unit. Checking and replacing all dirty air filters in the unit is always a great place to start. Next, ensure there is no dirt covering and outdoor components or furniture blocking the intake of indoor components. All of the above can easily prevent air flow and create blockages or clogs in the unit.
After that’s settled then check the thermostat and make sure it’s set to a cool temperature. Often an improperly set thermostat is the culprit of a hot home! On some systems, you can automate your thermostat so double-check the cooling schedule to make sure you didn’t set anything wrong.
If that doesn’t solve it then you can try restarting it. Power it off and make your way to the electrical panel. Turn off the circuit breakers that power your AC unit, wait a couple of seconds, and then turn it back on.
If this still doesn’t fix the issues with your Mr Cool air conditioner, then now is the time to call your HVAC technician to get you feeling cool again!

We are very happy to recommend this company to everyone. Our furnace broke down on Sunday morning. We phoned them and before noon Grant the owner showed up. He worked on the furnace for about a hour not wanting to give up to fix the problem. The furnace was 17 years old. I was the one talking about replacing it. End result was the next day it was all done. On the Sunday Bob came over with heaters to warm up the house. We decided to replace the water heater at the same time. TwinTech is an excellent and honest company! I called them for a second opinion after being told by another company that I needed to replace my furnace. Turns out this was not the case at all! I did not need a new furnace. TwinTech did not push to make an unnecessary sale and saved me from a huge expense. Bob and Mitch were extremely professional and above all honest!
